On the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest. The Practical Significance of the Feast of Tabernacles for Israel.ģ9 “On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the Lord seven days. It is a solemn assembly you shall not do any ordinary work. He began his career at a Big 4 (then Big 8) accounting firm before becoming the controller and director of finance and accounting of a manufacturing company and a trucking company, both closely-held sister corporations operating in Wichita, Kansas. A Kansas native, he earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and accounting from Southwestern College and his MBA from Baylor University (Waco, Texas).
